Upgrading to IFS Applications 10™ allowed Laurentide Controls to sit equally with the rest of North American Networks

Laurentide Controls has been helping industry thrive in Eastern Canada for over 50 years. After becoming the thirteenth company to join North America Networks, they decided to utilize Enterprise Consulting to successfully upgrade from IFS Applications 8.1™ to IFS Applications 10™.

Laurentide provides industry-specific solutions to areas such as mining, metals and minerals, and pulp and paper. Laurentide Controls is a trusted advisor for advancing industry and driving innovation by introducing leading-edge products, services, and technology.

Upgrading to IFS Applications 10™ allowed Laurentide Controls to sit equally with the rest of North American Networks 12 Emerson Impact Partners. Initially, a “common design” for North America Networks and the EIPs (needed customizations and integrations to 3rd party applications). Enterprise Consulting helped merge Laurentide Controls’ initial IFS configuration with the rest of the EIPs and North America Networks. To deliver the IFS Applications 10™ Upgrade, Enterprise Consulting used the standard IFS Upgrade Methodology, combined with Enterprise Consulting’s proven hands-on and customer-centric approach.

Laurentide holds a uniqueness to their business, having their financials currently based in Canada. They wanted the ability to do more with Product Configuration within IFS. To deliver this objective, Enterprise Consulting used insight and expertise to re-design business processes, further promoting Laurentide’s goals to grow and provide excellence. The IFS Applications 10™ Upgrade was completed on time and within budget. Enterprise Consulting collaborated with personnel to train and empower them to transition to IFS Applications 10™.
