Holland LP is an engineering-based company servicing railroad and related industries since 1935. They are the industry leader in flash-butt welding and introduced their laser welding service, along with thermite welding teams. They strongly believe in innovation and growth, and do so by designing, manufacturing, operating, and maintaining their own equipment. The Holland business has evolved and grown, leading to their next step of re-implementing IFS Applications from version 8 to version 10.  Stepping into usage of all features and functions of IFS, aligned with one of Holland’s core values of improvement; opening the door for further growth opportunities.

The Enterprise Consulting team led the effort to take advantage of new IFS Applications 10™ features and functions in all areas of the business.

Through the implementation, the company structure was consolidated and simplified, reducing inventory movements, and improving material planning.  Using IFS, their engineering and projects area was streamlined by improving team hand-offs and providing overall better teamwork.  By re-implementing, Holland was able to take advantage of improved IFS features and functions and improve preventative maintenance and service repairs.
