Enterprise Consulting Leads Pole Zero’s IFS Applications™ 10 Upgrade.

Pole Zero of West Chester OH, and a member of Dover Corporation’s Microwave Products Group, utilized Enterprise Consulting to successfully upgrade IFS Applications 8.1™ to IFS Applications 10™.  Pole Zero is the market leader in the design and manufacturing of RF filters for communication equipment used where RF interference can exist such as close quarters in commercial and military aircraft, ships, and ground vehicles.

The IFS Applications 10™ Upgrade had several complex characteristics that required a very strong Upgrade Team from Enterprise Consulting such as the IFS Defense Manufacturing Extension (DME), several integrations to 3rd party applications, and uplifts of many Modifications, Customizations, and complimentary applications. In addition to the complex technical aspects, Enterprise Consulting provided expertise to re-design Pole Zero business processes to better serve a growing and changing company. This Upgrade allowed Pole Zero to become compliant with the United States Government’s CMMS regulations. In addition, Enterprise Consulting helped implement new IFS functionality that became available to Pole Zero with IFS Applications 10™.

Enterprise Consulting proposed and delivered the IFS Applications 10™ Upgrade utilizing the standard IFS Upgrade Methodology with Enterprise Consulting’s well-known hands-on, Customer-Centric approach. Enterprise Consulting provided a full gamut of IFS Upgrade resources: Project Management, IFS System Engineers, Oracle DBAs, Technical Management, and Functional Consultants with many years of IFS experience in all key IFS Applications 10™ functional “silos”. The IFS Applications 10™ Upgrade was completed as planned and on budget.

Once Pole Zero was live on IFS Applications 10™, following an uneventful go-live weekend, planning for the next phase of the IFS Applications 10™ began, including planning for another IFS Applications 10™ Upgrade at another member of the Microwave Products Group.
