Nature’s Path Improves Business Processes with Enterprise Consulting led IFS Applications™ 10 Upgrade.

Nature’s Path Foods, of Richmond, BC utilized Enterprise Consulting to successfully upgrade IFS Applications 8.1™ to IFS Applications 10™.

Once Nature’s Path Foods was live on IFS Applications 10™ following an uneventful go-live weekend, planning for the next phase of the IFS Applications 10™ began. This second phase is designed to roll out a new IFS Applications 10™ capability not used previously by Nature’s Path Foods. This functional enhancement and capabilities, a “one version of the truth” IT structure, will allow Nature’s Path Foods to be more efficient internally and more competitive in the marketplace.

The IFS Applications 10™ Upgrade had several complex characteristics that required a strong Upgrade Team from Enterprise Consulting.  Nature’ Path Food’s project included many technical parts such as a Cloud Hosting provider migration, several integrations to 3rd party applications, uplifts of many Modifications, Customizations, and complimentary applications such as EDI, Bar Code Data Collection, and Shipping Management. In addition to the complex technical aspects, Enterprise Consulting provided expertise to re-design key Nature’s Path Foods business processes to better serve a growing and changing company.  Enterprise Consulting also fully trained personnel, many of whom were recent additions to the Nature’s Path Foods team, on how IFS Applications 10™ is used to support the redesigned business processes.

The project was completed on time and on budget utilizing the standard IFS Upgrade Methodology with Enterprise Consulting’s well-known hands-on, Customer-Centric approach. Enterprise Consulting provided a full gamut of IFS Upgrade resources: Project Management, IFS System Engineers, Oracle DBAs, Technical Management, and Functional SMEs with many years of IFS experience in all key IFS Applications 10™ functional “silos”. The Enterprise Consulting team coordinated with Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC), Nature’s Path’s Technology Partner, and various IFS support groups (IFS Managed Cloud and AMS) during the project.
