Enterprise Consulting Helps Mistras Group Optimize IFS Manufacturing and Engineering Processes
Mistras Group (Princeton Junction, NJ) was experiencing significant issues with their current Manufacturing and Engineering business processes. These business processes remained from the initial IFS Applications™ Implementation and were not well aligned with actual business needs. As a result, the breadth of these issues was causing Mistras Group a lack of visibility into their production costs and complex product conformity, resulting in widespread inefficiencies through the manufacturing process. The depth of these issues seemed to allow for no clear path to any meaningful resolution for Mistras Group. It was then decided they would turn to Enterprise Consulting to determine and deliver a viable solution to this problem.
The first step in finding a resolution started with an end-to-end process analysis led by a team of Enterprise Consulting experts partnering with Mistras Group’s cross-functional team. Enterprise Consulting helped Mistras Group document their current process issues and determined a prioritized list of business optimizations. This analysis provided Mistras’ Management a clear Optimization Roadmap of process improvements within IFS.
Based on the Optimization Roadmap and the recommendations it contained, Mistras Group continued to partner with Enterprise Consulting to execute the recommendations within the Manufacturing and Engineering processes. Once executed, these improvements enabled Mistras Group to accurately account for product costs as well as efficiently run all processes within IFS, including some which had previously been partially or fully managed outside of IFS.
