Enterprise Consulting Selected by Nature’s Path Foods for IFS System Administration Support

Nature’s Path Foods of Richmond, British Columbia found themselves in a bind. While they were preparing to upgrade from IFS Applications™ 8.1 to IFS Applications™ 10, there was nearly a year of IFS Systems Administration to support before the upgrade was scheduled to begin. Simply put, Nature’s Path Foods did not have the resources (from experience or capacity perspectives) to internally support the expected need. Enterprise Consulting was contracted to provide ongoing IFS System Administration Support (ISAS). This support covered a wide swath of both Functional and Technical needs such as User Maintenance, Security Profiles, Scheduled Tasks, License and Print Management, Custom Fields/Tables, Error Diagnostics, etc. To make using this support an efficient process, Enterprise Consulting assigned a primary resource and contact to Nature’s Path Foods to perform initial “triage” and task assignment of all incoming requests. This support continued for nearly eight months – well into the beginning of Nature’s Path Foods IFS Applications 10 Upgrade – which was awarded to Enterprise Consulting partially due to the success of the ISAS program.
